Legacy is an upcoming female hip hop artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her interest in music started at the tender age of 11 after listening to her favorite local hip hop artists such as Nazizi, Bamboo, Abass and many others. But citing Nazizi as the real reason she wanted to get into the hip hop scene and be just like her.
From then on she expanded her love for rap music by listening to other international acts citing her favorite as Kanye west, Jay Z, Lupe fiasco, Lady Bug, Lauryn hill and many more. But rap music isn’t the only music she loves but listens to a bit of everything from classical music to rock music stating that she gets more lyrical inspiration from them.
She believes she has the lyrical capability and potential to become one of the best artists of her generation. Working with the mantra “BEAUTY AND THE BEAT .”
Currently she has completed her debut single ‘Homemade’ and is working on two other singles yet to be released.
